The Daily Aus
In 2017, a friend of a friend approached me for a logo for their social first news platform. At the time their goal was to hit 10k followers. I worked with Sam and Zara to develop the logo based off of their vision for the brand - a coffee cup logo and distinctive purple colour. The coffee cup symbolised their philosophy of providing everyday news, in a simple format, for young people on-the-go. The branding work then developed to Canva templates and colour exploration. We were all university students at the time. It’s incredible to see Sam and Zara’s idea becoming the successful company it is today, and I’m honoured to have been a part of their journey. Today The Daily Aus is Australia’s leading social-first news service offering young Australians a digestible and engaging way to access the news. The initial logo lasted them till 2024, where they engaged with Hatrik House for a re-brand.
